Founder and CEO
Kimberly brings nearly two decades of financial services expertise to her clients. A seasoned financial services executive, Kimberly held the role of Chief Executive Officer of Hale and Dorr Wealth Advisors, where she led the turnaround of the firm. She later served as Managing Director of Athena Capital Advisors, a firm with the largest per-private client average assets under management in the country at the time. Kimberly has worked for J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and U.S. Trust.
Growing up in a household where money was a topic to be avoided and feared, Kimberly founded Via Global in 2013 because she understands just how complicated - and often contradictory - investment advice has become.
Kimberly is an Independent Director of Market Street Trust Company, a family office and private trust company that has been serving the Houghton family for more than a century. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation.
Kimberly earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude from Rice University, where she was salutatorian.
Alan leads operations and administration at Via Global, including the management of day-to-day client activities and accounts. He also oversees Via Global’s work with the firm’s preferred custodians. Prior to Via Global, Alan worked at Lake Street Advisors, where he created and managed the client operations team, developing the technology strategy that brought Lake Street into cloud-based data management.
Alan began his career at Dartmouth College Investments Office, leading the team’s efforts to analyze the endowment’s 50-year portfolio of private equity, private real estate, and commodities. He later served at Athena Capital Advisors, where he and Kimberly worked closely together on a myriad of client issues, and he and his team created a proprietary performance reporting platform, with a focus on private equity and private real estate.
Alan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of Pittsburgh.
